There is an Ultra Rare version in the Variable Book, but it is not as rare as the Ultra Rare version.
This is a rare promo that is almost nonexistent.
If you search for Taiwanese previews at flea markets, you will see how rare they are.
The movie was released in the U.S.A. in 2004.
Promo card for Yu-Gi-Oh! Pyramid of Light
(This movie was released in Japan, Taiwan and other countries as a limited release.)
This is one of the cards from an unopened pack that was given out at a preview screening in Taiwan to just under 5,000 people (the most famous card was Watapon).
There are 4 types of cards in the pack, and it is believed that only 1000-1500 copies of Pyramid of Light were issued.
3 Normal, 1 Super (only the Super has a small number of cards included, we believe the other 3 Normal cards have an even percentage of cards included).
It has been almost 20 years since then, and the number of copies imported into Japan from outside Umi is unknown.
In Japanese previews, there is only one Watapon, and it is distributed in transparent unopened packs or open packs.
This one is reasonably well-known and was once the first unopened promo for Yu-Gi-Oh!
(The Taiwanese version is a silver pack with 4 types randomly enclosed.)
The English version also has 4 types of packs, but since the U.S. was the main source of release, unopened gold packs are circulating reasonably well and are not that expensive, so the English version is recommended if you want to easily collect all types of packs.
The price is almost the same as the asking price because there are very few of them in circulation, and the market price is very wide in combination with flea markets and kadosho.
Since the preview was held in Taiwan at the time, we honestly do not know how many copies are distributed in Japan, including the other three types.
Incidentally, unopened silver packs from Taiwanese previews are quite rare nowadays, so you are in luck if you see an actual one.
The price is set high because it is a collection item.
