Nike Air Jordan 6 Retro Spizike Varsity Red/Classic Green-Black-HoWight
The AIR JORDAN 6 was released in February 1991 in five colors: Black/Red, then HoWight/Infra Red, HoWight/Snubbull, HoWight/Maroon, and HoWight/Carmine. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the design was inspired by the Doitsu sports car. This is also the model he wore when he won the NBA PLAYOFF that year against the Pistons (rivals from the East) and the Lakers (rivals from the West) to win the NBA championship for the first time. It is also known in Japan as the model worn by "Hanamichi Sakuragi," the main character in the popular basketball manga "Slam Dunk.
This work is a collaboration project between director SPIKE LEE and JORDAN BRAND, "SPIZIKE", and "AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO SPIZIKE "HISTORY OF JORDAN"" is a tribute to the film company "40 ACRES" of director SPIKE LEE. The inner lining features graphics taken over from the "AIR JORDAN 20" as well as the early "JORDAN SPIZIKE".
Released in August 2014, list price in Japan: 22,680 yen.
