[Condition Guide]
If no condition is specified in the product name, the condition is rated according to our store’s standards as Near Mint (NM) to Near Mint Minus (NM-).
Please note that all these conditions are based on our store’s standards. Thank you for your understanding.

Near Mint (NM)
Most cards are in this condition immediately after opening the pack. They are in excellent condition.

Near Mint Minus (NM-)
The condition is slightly worse than Near Mint, but not severe enough to warrant a full grade downgrade. These cards may have minute scratches, scuffs, etc. (including those resulting from the manufacturing process).
We classify these as “in excellent condition,” though they do have slight scratches.

*As a general rule, we classify cards that are warped due to moisture absorption or dehumidification, as well as those with printing orientation or aspect ratios we determine to be due to manufacturing, as [NM] to [NM-].


Excellent Plus (EX+)
Cards with small scratches, scuffs, or slight discoloration on the edges or surface. It is believed that a significant portion of the total cards circulating in the secondhand market are in EX+ condition.
It is believed that the vast majority of these cards do not have a “Stand” rating.
Unless you are particularly picky about card condition, we recommend these cards since they are cheaper than NM–NM–.

Excellent (EX)
Condition where the card’s edges or surface have scratches, scuffs, dull spots, or small dents.
While not in tatters, this is a condition that many would consider to be a “damaged” card.

Played (PLD)
A condition where the card has scratches, scuffs, stains, dents, and some creases.
It is fine for use in games, but we do not recommend it for those purchasing for a collection.

Heavy Played (HPLD)
A condition where the card has scratches over its entire surface, large scratches in some areas, scuffs, creases, dents, etc.
While it is fine for use in games when placed in a colored sleeve, we do not recommend it for those purchasing for collection purposes.

Poor (POOR)
Condition featuring very large scratches, scuffs, stains, creases, dents, tears, peeling, water damage, etc.
Not recommended for collectors.

In addition to the condition descriptions above, the following supplementary notations may be included:
Plus (+) The card is in better condition than the specified grade, but not quite good enough to qualify for the next higher grade.
Minus (–) The card is in worse condition than the specified grade, but not bad enough to fall into the next lower grade.

Inked
The card shows signs of correction made with a pen or similar writing instrument.

Signed
A card bearing a signature.

Stamped
A card bearing a stamp.
