About High Definition On-demand Printing
High-definition on-demand printing, which is a polymerization of the Giclee technique, which was introduced in the U.S. in the 1990s as a printmaking technique, and color adjustment technology cultivated in plate-making and printing, was adopted.
Giclee means "spraying or atomizing" in French, and has become established as a new technique in the world of fine art printmaking, along with silkscreen and lithography.
The image is created by spraying fine psychic ink droplets, and is characterized by its ability to express the subtle nuances of the artist's drawing, while taking advantage of the texture of the paper.
